I remember instructors saying “It’s all about the breath”, but I never really knew what that meant. I now realize that when your movements co-ordinate with your breathing, balance enters your body. Calming or centering oneself by slowing inhaling and exhaling is one of the most fundamental yet rewarding benefits of yoga. You’re then ready for whatever life may bring your way.
